The first thing is to decide what holiday do you want (hot, cold, active, relaxing. cultural or culinary), then figure out how much time you have, and lastly where have you NOT been that fulfills all the requirements. Make a list and then narrow it down based on price and availability.

Yep, we do on occasion. It depends on the person and the personality of that person, how fun they are and what they have to contribute. We are not into babysitting or ‘paying’ for someone’s vacation, so if you think you have what it takes, AND it says ‘We are currently looking for crew!’ right here, drop us a line!

As with everything in life, you read the area or situation and plan accordingly. If you dont want to be wrecked on a reef, you make sure you do weather routing, have a plan B and know how to reduce sail. At anchor, port or exploring on ‘the hard’, if you dont want to lose it you hide it or lock it up.

That depends on what you intend to do. The first thing is research, research, research, and then armed with all of that knowledge, put a plan in place. What equipment do you need? What time do you need? What money or other resources are required? When you have all of that figured out, be realistic as to where you are in the process and where you have to be to make it all happen.

The website is primarily for us to remember what we did, with whom and when and share those experiences with family and friends across the globe. Some of the ‘tips  & tricks’ and ‘classroom’ pages are actually more for us to remember what we have researched, and have the ability to revisit that information later. As WE thought it was useful and interesting, perhaps it would be useful to others too? With that in mind a website makes the most sense.

Great question! Not sure when but that is our end destination.
The bigger question will be, where do we go once we are back? 🙂
