ARC+: Day 11 – Cachupa

Today is the day to fill up the butane tank for cooking. Normally in the USA this would be propane which needs higher pressure tanks and has less BTUs. My instructions from others to find someone to fill the tanks were ‘walk down the main road on the waterfront south until you cannot walk any more. You will see a doorway with man sitting in it. Give your tank to him and wait 10 minutes. Go to the door to the left and pay then collect your filled tank from the man sitting in the door way’. I followed the instructions and,… they worked! Cheapest fill in the world about $3.29 in real money.

On the way there came across a local, very active fish market. Plenty of interesting sights, sounds, and smells and a few good photos. A bowl of cachupa local plate made of corn, garbanzos, an egg and a small slice of chorizo like sausage.

More negotiating with a local chandlery about making new arms for our boom break that got destroyed.

Dinner at a local sports bar then bed.
