From Gaios, we headed north to Notos Beach on Corfu island, departed at 1025 and arrived at 1140. Got a reservation at Benitses Marina where John Stam, a Garmin rep on Corfu planned to visit us and replace the rudder sensor and pair the remote VHF unit which still hasn’t paired to the handheld. Dinner at Panorama restaurant was the best food in Greece. Nice location, but anchorage got crowded slight damage to tip of rudder. Looked at rudder while snorkling but damage not severe enough to worry about. Very hot night. Michael and Sarah slept in cockpit.

Panorama Notos has self contained apartments to rent, a beautiful ‘jungle’ garden, a terrace, a restaurant, a bar and a private beach area. The apartment features both WiFi and private parking free of charge. The food is excellent and it is a good place to step off your boat for a day on the hard. With all of teh tall trees and bushes you relax on the lounge chairs scatted through the garden without being in the direct sun all day. A few steps and you aer in the water cooling off.
The Panorama restaurant at Notos beach due to the quality of food and ambiance gets full quickly and if you don’t make a reservation you may get turned away. There is a dinghy dock and the anchorage has good sand holding for the main sailboat.
