Multi hulls started at 1245 and our class the ‘Minohulls’, started at 1300 just out of Las Palmas harbor. A lot of expense and planning have led up to this day. The committee boat at the start was the largest I have ever started a race with, a huge dark military customs boat!

TUI was one of the first 3 over the line. Destination Cape Verde over 800nm away and we expect it to take a whole week to get there.
