Departed Garrusha at 0605 and headed for Almerimar. Another long day arriving at 1533.

It was an easy motor though we tried to sail but the wind was right on the nose, so we had to furl the sails. It would be possible to sail the distance but it would have taken atl least 50% more time due to tacking against the wind.

As soon as we got to the marina we headed for the fuel dock and filled  up with diesel with the fuel guage reading a fraction over empty. The pump started off on zero, but by the time we were ull it read 277 liters had been pumped in at a cost of 571 euros. The fuel tank only has a capacity of 210 liters, so how does the 277 liters tah we paid for fit in a 210 liter tank. And the tank wasn’t even fully empty???

All the specs from Bavaria say 210 liters and we did check that the fuel gage was at 000 on the pump before pumping.
Sounds like diesel fraud do me. If the do it to us then they do it to everyone. Completely dishonest.

It was however a lovely port and it had good showers. Electricity, and water was included in the daily rate.

We found two other Bavaria Vision 46 nearby, and talked to the owners. It was great comparing boats!
