From Notos beach, we went to Benitses Marina, a very hot morning, no breeze. Everyone slept in, departed at 1023 and arrived at 11:50. Great marina, everything new. One year old with hotel like room card for electricity and water. Good Wi-fi, very pleasant stuff. Diesel truck on demand. Very small town, excellent water. Good beach, right beside marina. Free wine or prosecco for each crew member on arrival. Boys got bracelet strings replaced, but supermarkets though are expensive. Will wait until Corfu town to provision. Sam arrived at 1400 and a stalled new Garmin rudder sensor. Remote VHF radio handset now works. Issue was teh power on order. Needed Turn on the heml power and then wait. Then turn on main VHF and wait. Then turn on the remote VHF handset. All equipment need time to turn on before being able to connect to previous equipment.

Benitses occupies a large portion of the central east Corfiot coast, from opposite mouse island and Perama on the north side up to Agios Ioannis peristeron in the south where the Marbella hotel is.
The old village has a traditional feel to it and is surrounded by woodland, a wonderfully relaxing background in favor of the 1000 inhabitants of the village.
Walking up the old streets you get the feeling that you are in a mountain village in Greece, but this is just an illusion as the sea is only yards away.
